Captain America (Captain America, in English), is the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a character in HQ (Comic) from Marvel Comics. It was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, first appeared in Captain America Comics # 1 (March 1941).

Captain America was the largest of a wave of superheroes that emerged under the banner of patriotism and American that were presented to the world by companies Comics, during the years of World War II. Along with his partner Bucky, Captain America faced the hordes Nazis during World War II, but fell into obscurity after the end of conflict.
